This week we are in buzzing, trendsetting Berlin to present the Publisher’s Toolbox to the global publishing community. It’s the WAN-IFRA World Publishing Expo running parallel with the DCX Digital Content Expo from 9 to 11 October 2018 showcasing what’s new in both print and digital publishing.
“We enjoy returning to WAN-IFRA World Publishing Expo, to reconnect with traditional publishing houses to share our latest digital innovations. Last year we established great relationship with NewsUk and DCThomson teams, and hope to repeat with others,” said Rich Cheary, CEO of Publisher’s Toolbox.
Our toolbox is open at stand number B.16 – D, Hall 22b on the digital side of things where we’ll unpack our suite of products that tie in scarily with the organiser’s aim of showing decision-makers in the publishing community how to “distribute and monetise content in every form even faster and more efficiently”. Well, we offer exactly that with the Publisher’s Toolbox which is a unique digital innovation.
We take visitors through the 360 degree Publisher’s Toolbox digital publishing cycle starting with MojoReporter – the app that puts publishing power in the hands of hard-working journalists in the field doing what they do best: capturing content.
From there, it’s on to BiblioDAM – our centralised archive in the sky where the journalists can store their content safely for their editors to access, edit and package with our hyper-efficient digital-first CMS, BaobabSuite.
In addition to seeing to layouts and designs templates, available the particular Mobile App and WebSuites, editors will be able to curate their “digital first” stories using platforms such as BaobabSuite, and depend upon Imigino for video streaming and access to exciting new progressive web apps that bring all the functionality of mobile to the web.
And finally, on to the media consumers: people with the right to know. Downloading and using a brandable MobileAppSuite, consumers can learn everything they need to know about events shaping the world right now packaged according to the designs, colours and branding of their favourite news outlets.
Afrozaar, creators of Publisher’s Toolbox, is proud to attend the WAN-IFRA World Publishing Expo to assist the publishing community in providing quality content to an information-hungry world. Found in the UK and based in Cape Town, we continually search for the best ways to use technology to enrich journalism whether in print or digital.
